Murali has 26 years of experience as a senior marketing executive in various FMCG companies. During the course of his professional career, he has worked on assignments in several countries in the Middle East, Latin America, USA and Eastern Europe. A master strategist with excellent commercial pedigree, he has successfully headed teams that have been responsible for understanding specific geographical markets for various FMCG products and developing sales strategy for exploiting those markets. His interest in the commodity trading business was triggered by a chance encounter with a Nigerian crude oil trader several years ago. Having realized the true potential of the business, he has dedicated the past 7 years for developing a thorough knowledge of the market for various petroleum products and has gradually developed close relationship with prominent players operating across the supply chain in the oil industry. His initial experience as a consultant and broker of fuel trade transactions has given him valuable insight and expertise into different facets of the business.

At Lampros Energy, Murali focuses on market assessment and strategizing for petroleum products and developing relationship with companies in the Middle East, South America, Eastern Europe and Africa. He also oversees the Company’s brokering activities for petroleum products and selective metals & minerals.
